Remarks & Notes

There remains a fair amount of coal moving across the former PRR Middle Division, but most of it is for export. Witness this Y91 (an extra 591), coal empties out of the Port of Baltimore, westbound approaching Book’s Crossing (Mexico, PA) while en route to Shire Oaks on the Monongahela River.
