Remarks & Notes

We were out mainly looking for UP freights, but they are few and far between these days on Donner, so we settled on Amtrak 6 because at least it is reasonably predictable. This was taken from the new bike trail the parallels the UP through much of the Truckee River canyon. We had walked about a quarter-mile west of Floriston proper.
