| The Indianapolis District of the former Illinois Central was known as the “Hi-Dry Line” for many high fills and bridges/trestles. In the last rays of sunlight, the Sunday - Friday SAHW (Senate Ave Hiawatha Yard) prepares to slow down as it comes into Switz City to do a meet with HWSA (Hiawatha Yard Senate Ave). The usual duo of classic SD9043MAC’s lead the evenings train to Jasonville, seen here crossing over a small trestle in Elliston. |
