| My favorite K-36 on the D&SNG, No. 481, is upgrade at Hermosa with a nine-car train headed to Silverton. This locomotive has been operating on the D&SNG since 1981 and was the first K-36 reach Silverton (because of their size, D&RGW did not use the K-36 class locomotives on the Silverton Branch). |
