SBB Historic's timelessly elegant TRANS EUROP EXPRESS multiple unit RAe TEE II # 1053, built in 1961 and now 60 years old, recently reached Bodio in the Ticino on its journey for patrons (Gönnerclub RAe TEE II 1053) from Olten via Arth Goldau-Erstfeld-Gotthard mountain line. Here, locomotive Re 4/4 II # 11195 was precoupled to pull the train set over the section til Bellinzona, with ETCS L2 train protection, which is missing on this vehicle.
