Canadian National (Illinois Central) business car IC 800413 Great Lakes is one of seven CN/IC business cars undergoing work at CN’s Woodcrest Locomotive Shops. This car, built by Pullman-Standard, is the former Illinois Central Gulf 1, originally Illinois Central 1 (built in March 1956). All seven of the cars in the shops this day were wearing this new red, white and black scheme. Note the stylish art deco "Illinois Central" roadname in the railing!
