Normally, the Metra Heritage Corridor System from Chicago Union Station - Joliet Union Station does not operate trains on Saturday’s and Sunday’s, but for Oktoberfest they have been. METX HX01, the Rails, Trails, and Ales Special splits the block signals just south of CP Romeoville in half with a pair of Blue F40PH-2’s, which is now becoming a slowly dying sight in 2021. The NRG Will County Generating Station can also be seen on the left.
