From a Trains Magazine photoshoot in Ely, NV celebrating the return to service of Baldwin Consolidation #81, and the 81st anniversary of Trains Magazine. The weather forcast was pretty dire, but things actually turned out well. Oh, there was rain, clouds, wind and even a few snowflakes but it all turned out fine and the group had a marvelous time. Here's the star of the show, #81 as it leads fellow Alco #93 up Robinson Canyon with a freight train. Storm clouds loom, but sunshine lights our celebrity on this occasion.
