An RTD L Line train is seen on Stout St from a parking garage - one of my favorite types of vantage points.
At first I was confused as to why RTD trains ran opposite the direction of traffic on Stout and California Streets in Downtown Denver, but after some thought I would guess it reduces the frequency of sideswipe and turning accidents at intersections, since drivers can clearly see the train coming in front of them rather than behind. |
