The Shinkansen Class 923, nicknamed "Doctor Yellow", seen here passing Sekigahara on a cloudy winter afternoon. Heavily modified from the Shinkansen 700 Series, only two sets of the Class 923 were built and operated for the purpose of high-speed tests and railway inspections.
