Remarks & Notes |
Silhouetted against the morning sun on the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, dainty "Eureka" makes its way through the New Mexico desert sagebrush during the Victorian Iron Horse Roundup. Visible immediately behind Eureka, poking out from behind the rock, is the stack and headlight of Carson & Tahoe Lumber & Fluming Co. 2-6-0 "Glenbrook". Both locomotives are graduates of the Baldwin Locomotive Works Class of 1875 and were delivered to railroads in Northern Nevada. |
