Ex-PRR 5808, dressed up in Spokane International lettering, is on display at the former John Ryan dental offices. Dr. Ryan retired about the time of the photo and the property was purchased by a developer keen to retain the railroad equipment, which includes the former Pullman sleeper "Blythewood" and BN caboose 11389. Historically, the Spokane International Railway (later Railroad) ran between Spokane, WA & Kingsgate, BC....it still survives, in part, as Union Pacific's Spokane Subdivision.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
