A group of schoolchildren wearing yellow high-visibility vests enjoy a guided tour of the depot at the Furka-Bergstrecke steam railroad (DFB) in Realp. They observe the preparations for the journey of the large cogwheel steam locomotive HG 4/4 # 704, which will later pull its train over the Furka. The locomotive is just moving from the pit track, where it had been supplied with coal and water and lubricated, onto the turntable.
