Remarks & Notes

The Prairie Village, Herman & Milwaukee is a two-mile standard gauge railroad that operates on the grounds of Historic Prairie Village in Madison, South Dakota. The primary motive power is 0-6-0 29, originally US Army 4047 and later Duluth & Northeastern. The railroad also rosters a former US Air Force GE 80-ton diesel, 1687, affectionately known as "The Colonel."
