Remarks & Notes

The Reading had twenty extended vision cabooses built by International Car Company in 1970 and 1971. When the railroad was dissolved as part of Conrail’s formation, they were equally divided between Conrail and the Delaware & Hudson. Here one of only ten extended vision cabooses on the Conrail roster brings up the rear of an eastbound train at Horseshoe Curve.
