The power from Conrail train UPS has delivered a trainload of coal to Metropolitan Edison’s Portland Generating Station in Portland, Pennsylvania, and is now heading north on the original DL&W main line. The crew is passing Cramer’s Cashway lumber yard, and just beyond that is the Portland Diner, where the crew will take a meal break. The Delaware Water Gap can be seen in the right distance.
