Remarks & Notes
A thunderstorm has moved east over Canyon Ferry Lake and the Big Belt Mountains on the afternoon of July 7, 2021, as a BNSF coal train climbs the westbound grade of Winston Hill between Townsend and Winston, Montana. Montana Rail Link’s tie gang will soon be working through the area, installing all the fresh, new ties scattered along the right-of-way.

For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
