Nickel Plate No. 765 arrives in East Stroudsburg, PA, along the former Delaware, Lackawanna & Western main, en route to the Delaware Water Gap. Taken from the 1908 built DL&W tower during Steamtown's 2015 Labor Day Weekend Railfest.
The Van Swearingen Brothers standarized freight power for their railroads with nearly identical 2-8-4 Berkshires. Two of these engines are still in excursion service.
