Rolling on the river. The Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad's excursion train runs deep in the South Branch Gorge near the town of Wickham, WV, heading for Moorefield and points south. This very scenic, former B&O trackage provides a beautiful ride along the South Branch of the Potomac River featuring rocky cliffs towering above, and the sight of an occasional eagle soaring overhead.
