| Bombardier TRAXX F140 MS Re 484 # 004 and # 019 of the SBB in multiple control, are pulling the freighttrain 60221 from the RBL (Limmattal shunting yard) to Chiasso over the 150 meter long Reuss bridge between Oberrüti and Rotkreuz. Many of the Re 484 series locmotives are now used by SBB Cargo instead of SBB Cargo International. The river Reuss has an extraordinary amount of water (approx 400 m3/second), near the maximum that can/should be discharged in a controlled manner from Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee), which is in high flood after the heavy rains of the previous week. |
