“Tempers Flare” Having already hoisted 21 cement loads to the CSX interchange at Highfield, UBHF returns east to retrieve the remaining 29 loads, two helpers, and eight empties tied down at Flint (mp 62). The westbound had stalled earlier, due to a malfunction in one of the train’s two GP38-3 helpers, forcing the doubling of the mountain. The crewmembers weren’t too happy, but the paparazzi didn’t mind a bit, as it afforded some bonus lens time.
