Reading & Northern's 4-6-2 No. 425 climbs the grade of the former Lehigh Valley right of way, riding "the wall" while paralleling the former CNJ line, which has since been converted to a rails-to-trail rouite through the Lehigh Gorge. Unlike the the previous two days, leaving after the 11 AM train, I took a chance, and a long hike into the Gorge and... what do you know? Got me a nice shot of the 1 pm train - in the Summer!
