| To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the GLACIER EXPRESS (1930 to 2020), a journey with the beautiful parlor cars of the RhB was planned from Tirano to St.Moritz, then to Zermatt and finally up to the Gornergrat (3089 meter a.s.l.) . Due to Covid-19, the trip had to be postponed from 2020 to 2021. Now cogwheel railcar BDhe 4/4 # 3061 (built 1981) of the Gornergratbahn (GGB) is slowly running down from the Gornergrat with the parlor car As # 1144 of the Rhaetian Railway. The train is between Riffelberg and Riffelalp with the mighty Matterhorn in the background. |
