Pacing each other as they head east out of Los Angeles (and the setting sun) are BNSF Priority UPS-LTL Intermodal train Z-LACWSP6-09 (Los Angeles CA to Willow Springs IL) and a Metrolink commuter train that, oddly, doesn’t show up in their timetable (¯\_(ツ)_/¯). The intermodal train has an interesting consist, with BNSF ES44DC 7565 leading BNSF ES44C4 8192, Union Pacific AC4400CW 6696 and BNSF Dash 9-44CW 769 (in the popular red and silver Superfleet scheme). The mystery 6-car Metrolink train, operating between trains 608 and 712, is being pulled by SCAX F125 921. (Santa Fe Springs, California – July 9, 2021)
