Four axle diesellocomotive Bm 4/4 # 18435 (Bm 840 # 435) of the SBB, used as shunting locomotive in the industrial works of the SBB in Olten. The locomotive with a 883 kW SLM diesel prime mover, generator and 4 electric driving motors was built in 1969, in a series of 46 ( # 18401 to # 18446) between 1960 and 1970. Nowadays, only very few (I suppose two locomotives) were used by the SBB, several have been sold to other railways or operators, and many were scrapped. This particular locomotive # 18435 was used in Brig before for the shunting of passenger cars and is now in the IW Olten since a few weeks.
