Remarks & Notes
Cogwheel steamlocomotive with upright boiler H 1/2 # 7, built in 1873 by the SLM Winterthur as very first locomotive, is running down from Rigi Kulm to Arth-Goldau, with cars B # 5 of 1871 and C # 11 "Bambus" of 1889 (converted to freight car between 1960 and 1996). The train is crossing the Dossenbach truss bridge between Rigi Klösterli and Fruttli. The passengers were rather surprised to see a photographer deep in the wood of the steep Rigi slope.
