Remarks & Notes
Storm bearing down on Hosterman. Blackening the sky like an approaching tempest, Meadow River Heisler #6 storms down the old C&O Greenbrier main at Hosterman, WV (MP 88.2), past the lily pad-covered pools of the Allegheny Run, on her way south to Cass with some freight loads for interchange.

This 90-ton, 3-trucker is now owned by the State of West Virginia, as part of the Cass Scenic Railroad collection. This image was captured in the little hamlet of Hosterman, WV, on a May, 2021 Lerro Photography photo shoot.
