| Potash loads bound for the Crowsnest head out of Lethbridge passing the last surviving grain elevator at Fort Macleod. Not that long before the photo was taken, there were four of these “prairie sentinels” standing guard here with this Alberta Wheat Pool elevator in the traditional blue/green the only one left, accompanied now by only its weedy siding. This UP GE is less than a year old, doing double DPU duty with a dual-flag SD40-2 now long out of service. |
