When the Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn (VRB) was electrified with 1500 V DC in 1937, there were ordered from SLM and BBC 3 electric railcars of type Bhe 2/4 with 72 seats and 450 horsepower. Maximum velocity running up is 18 km/h, when running down 12 km/h. They can shove a car of 11 ton maximum. The iconic railcar # 1 is running up from Vitznau to Rigi Kulm, between Grubisbalm and Freibergen. In the background typical rock formations of the Rigi, and on the right on the rock is a large Swiss flag of 31 to 31 meter, fixed some days ago.
