Three steamtrains of all generations of the Brienz-Rothorn Bahn (BRB) on Planalp, half way up to the top. This day, the timetabled trains are running to this point only, because there is too much snow up on the mountain. On the left timetabled train 77 which just arrived from Brienz with oilfired H 2/3 # 15 built 1996. In the middle photo charter with coalfired H 2/3 # 7 of 1936. On the right the H 2/3 # 2 of 1892 with the fireman training train. The BRB is offering three days courses to learn how is operated and fired a cogwheel steamlocomotive. Of course, this is not a real training, but more of an experience and is always booked out early.
