4-car "Flirt" RABe 524 # 017, with a 6-car train RABe 524 # 1.. of the TILO in multiple control, are leaving the 15,4 kilometer long Ceneri Base Tunnel (CBT) near Camorino in the Magadino plane, running the S 80 service 25510 from Milan via Chiasso-Lugano to Locarno. Since change of timetable in the Ticino on april 5th, 2021, this new service enables a very fast connection between the cities of Lugano and Locarno and vice versa in 30 minutes only.
