Remarks & Notes
Cogwheel steamlocomotives H 2/3 # 17, built in 1925 by the SLM Winterthur for the Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn (VRB), and H 1/2 # 7 from 1873, unique operational cogwheel steamlocomotive with an upright boiler, loaned from the Swiss Museum of Transport Lucerne for the 150 year anniversary of the Rigi Bahn, on the turntable in front of Vitznau station. The line to Rigi Kulm with a steady grade of 25.0 % is going up through the wood and rocks in the background. Both locomotives were prepared for the 150 years celebration of the Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn (1871 to 2021) the next weekend.
