Remarks & Notes

#844 remained in Denver an extra day following the final run of the Denver Post Cheyenne Frontier Days special, while the consist ran ahead to Council Bluffs. This allowed them to pick up some freight to take out on the mainline to Cheyenne. Considering the circumstances that led to this, it was dubbed "The Healing Train".
