| A C U Later: After finishing work at BRI in Bridgewater, NS 62V is on the move east on Conrail Lehigh Line Track #1. The leader was purchased from Union Pacific in September of 2014. It formerly was SD9043MAC UP 3510 (later UP 8501 and later NS 7279). It was rebuilt to become a SD70ACU in 2016. In February of 2021, after only a few years being rebuilt, it was sold to Progress Rail (PRLX) along with 45 other Norfolk Southern SD70ACU units that month. Behind the leader is another rebuilt unit: AC44C6M NS 4046 (rebuilt from C40-9 NS 8783 in June of 2017). |
