Erie On Erie. On Thursday, April 29, 2021, former Erie Railroad E8 833 left its long time home in Port Jervis, New York for what may be the final time, destination unknown. This engine last took a vacation away from here in 2014 for the Streamliners At Spencer event at the N.C. Transportation Museum. Norfolk Southern Corp 5610 (GP38-2) does the honors with the crew of H55 passing the The Erie Hotel & Restaurant, which was the original Port Jervis Station. Five passenger cars of various lineage were also transported.
