Cogwheel push-pull train of the Rigi Bahnen with railcar BDhe 4/4 # 22 and cab car Bt # 32 is running the train CC 1127 from Vitznau to Rigi Kulm, crossing the Schnurtobel bridge between Mittlerschwanden and Grubisbalm. The cab car has a pantograph to scratch ice from the oberhead wire in wintertime. This push-pull train was built in 1986 by SLM and BBC for the Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn (VRB), together with # 21/31 of the same type. The Arth-Rigi-Bahn (ARB) got a similar push-pull train BDhe 4/4 # 15 with cab car Bt # 25 in 1982, in blue/white paintscheme. The ARB and the VRB joined to the Rigi Bahnen in 1992. The concrete Schnurtobel bridge, in the maximum grade of 25.0 %, was built in 1957/58, replacing an old truss bridge from 1871, when the line was built.
