Remarks & Notes
Calculated luck! I saw this train up in Salt Lake North Yard being serviced on my way home. I went home but, was keeping my eye out for it. I heard a horn about 7:10 tonight, and debated if it was even going to be worth it. As I got out side, I could see where the sun was going to go into a pretty big cloud bank on the horizon. Then I could see where there was just a little bit of hope. Were there was blue sky right on the horizon. I would have to time it just right, with the location and train speed. Luck and a little experience was with me tonight at 7:40 p.m, as you can see by the shadowed mountain range. Nice to get a GE tier 4 to boot. Also nice to see two SD70M on a main line train 4140 and 4635.
