Remarks & Notes
Crossover. An inbound LIRR train crosses onto Track 2 to arrive at Jamaica Station. The complex interlockings here feature numerous double crossovers, single and double slip switches, and plenty of other special trackwork. LIRR 154 is sitting in the backgound as a protect unit for this critical location that 10 of the LIRR's 11 lines pass through.
