Burlington Northern EMD SD24 No. 6244 shows off its high nose, culminated by a Mars signal light, as the locomotive sits on display at the Illinois Railroad Museum in Union, Illinois, on June 25, 1995. The 2,400 h.p. unit has since been repainted back into its original Chicago, Burlington & Quincy colors of gray over Chinese red and road number 504.
