Remarks & Notes
The 13 kilometer long Waldenburgerbahn (WB) between Liestal and Waldenburg, since 2016 part of the Baselland Transport AG (BLT), is the only 75 cm (2.46 foot) gauge railway of Switzerland. From april 6th 2021 till the end of 2022, the line will be rebuilt and converted to 1 meter gauge. Railcar BDe 4/4 # 12 (built in 1986) with two cab cars Bt is running train 3160 from Liestal to Waldenburg, between Bad Bubendorf and Talhaus. The WB has 7 of this railcars and 10 cab cars. All vehicles are sold to the Čiernohronská železnica (Schwarzgranbahn) in Slovakia, where they should run after electrification of the line, perhaps. Note the white Volvo car, which dates back to about the same time as the railroad vehicles!
