With little over six weeks until HST's bow out of traffic on the Midland Mainline there is now precious little time to catch the few remaining sets that are still in traffic.
With a slight easing of lockdown restrictions and the warmest day of the year so far 30th March 2021 was the perfect opportunity to catch up with the Heritage power car 43103 which has been re-painted back into Intercity Swallow colours. This power car was picked as it was one of the two involved in the record breaking run where 148mph, the diesel land speed record for rail was set.
