After switching cars at the smelter of Freeport McMoRan’s Miami Operations near Globe, Arizona, and making up a good portion of an outbound train in the upper yard in the facilities, an Arizona Eastern train is now departing the FMI facility. Two B40-8s pull the train down a steep grade to reach the the AZER yard alongside Highway 60, where the crew will finish making up the road train that will head to south to Bowie. Momentary sun lights up the power as the train approaches the Highway 60 grade crossing on October 25, 2020.
