This was the moment that the California Zephyr led by Amtrak engine 19 (P42DC) blasted through a four foot snow drift during the massive March 14th Snowmageddon snowstorm. The explosion of snow completely coated the front of the engine as it ran through Coal Creek Canyon in the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
