The remains of an old 1892 built Reading Company freight house await one last box car which will never arrive, the station, one last RDC, which also will never show. Rails to trails advocates, however, await the completion of a project that will see the full conversion of the Reading line that was built by the Philadelphia & Montgomery County Railroad, into a trail that spans from Newtown, PA into Philadelphia. Likely, the only people not in a rush for anything to come to fruition are the residents of the station which is on lease from SEPTA.
