Remarks & Notes
Caboose put-away. With darkness approaching, Monson Locomotive #3 has WW&F Caboose #320 on her front coupler and is taking it back to the shop building for indoor storage. Caboose 320 was constructed by the WW&F Museum right here in Alna, ME. While it is technically a "new build" piece, the museum considers it an original as opposed to a replica, because the original railroad had plans for this car.....they just never got around to actually building it. The museum crew finished the job, some 55 years after the original railroad closed down.
