| An all-Swedish night train from the Swedish capital Stockholm to the Norwegian port city of Narvik passed the border and the Baltic Sea - Atlantic water divide five minutes earlier and began its long descent to sea level (the last but most spectacular 35 minutes of a 18 hour 43 minute journey) above the innumerable small glacier lakes of the Norddalen valley, which are flanked by the typical Norwegian weekend cabins. |
