A sleek late evening Amtrak Acela Express flies through West Windsor, NJ passing a series of temporary platforms which were placed over track 4 to facilitate ongoing catenary and track work. The ongoing work is part of a project to to increase speeds and reliability along a stretch of track spanning from Hamilton, one station stop south) and New Brunswick, two stations north. Delayed several years, it is hoped that speeds on the inside tracks may be authorized for 160 mph by Fall of this year.
