It's just a month or so before Watco takes over Norfolk Southern's West Virginia Secondary when a freight works the yard at Nitro, W.Va. By this time, the line had been cut around Hobson, Oh. and nothing ran north with all traffic being routed south toward Mullens, W.Va. and over the Gilbert line.
