On The Day That It Happened. Pan Am Railways POAY crosses the marsh in Scarborough, Maine on Friday, February 26, 2021 with C40-8 7489 leading (ex-CSX 7489, née CR-6025, GE, 3/1989). This was the same day that the conditions of the merger with CSX were announced, bringing a new face of railroading to the State of Maine.
