Remarks & Notes
I'm still standing... after all these years!

This is Reading Company's Churchville Station built in 1892 on what was then the line's "New Hope Branch". The station has a surviving identical twin, seen here located one station stop to the east at Southampton. Another two, since demolished, once stood at Trevose, and Roelofs, PA. Both surviving stations were served by the SEPTA commuter agency up until 1983 when the line was deactivated. Currently, this station is being used as a private residence, and since my last visit, appears to have received a new roof - this time (likely historically incorrect) with black vs the reddish brown color it previously had. The tracks and roadbed are still here, though slated to be removed to continue the path of the Pennypack rails to trail project which reached Southampton in 2019. For now, the current owners still have the tranquillity they have had for decades.
